The Garden Shed

This model garden shed is the ultimate backyard retreat, blending nature and functionality in a compact yet innovative design. A lush green roof maximizes space, creating a living, breathing canopy that enhances insulation while adding to the shed’s aesthetic appeal. An enclosed greenhouse houses tropical plants, transforming the space into a tranquil oasis where greenery thrives year-round. Whether used as a cozy escape or a creative workshop, this thoughtfully designed shed combines sustainability and serenity in perfect harmony.

While the shed and accessories are crafted from plastic and wood, every plant in this project is very much alive! There are approximately 15 different plant varieties used in this miniature garden including air plants, polka dot plants, and baby’s tears. During the 2025 Philadelphia Flower Show where this mini garden was displayed, the plants were meticulously pruned and sometimes swapped out to keep them looking fresh for its 250,000+ visitors.
