Berlin: Tear Down This Wall

This miniature scene was created in 1:12 scale for the 2026 Philadelphia Flower Show, and all the plants were living. The theme of the show was “Rooted” and I was asked to create a scene from history. I chose the day the Berlin Wall came down. Artist Intent: A crack splits the graffiti-covered wall, tearing through decades of division. Layers of paint and symbols tell the story of resistance, as hammers strike the cold concrete. With cheers in the air, neighbors gather to witness the night East met West—a once-divided city is united at last.
